Botchit Breaks Volume 5 (2CD)

Well, the Botchit boys are back with their latest nu skool breaks installment and fans of the label will be pleased to hear that it is up to their usual high standards! As usual it’s a 2 cd set with the Atomic Hooligan providing the 3 deck mix this time out. As a bonus these cds are available really cheaply in the UK and should be traceable online too.

Breaks are, unsurprisingly, the main ingredient here, fused together with a diverse spectrum of sounds. This time out we get more vocal offerings like T Power’s collaboration with Aurora Borealis and the excellent Aquasky vs. Masterblaster with the Ragga Twins vying for space with the breakbeat/2 step side of things. Check the latest Backdraft work, and the slammin DJ Deekline and Dreb cut. Electro, Dub and DnB get thrown into the mixer and come out sounding damn fine! Good old Chris Carter also provides the goods again with ‘Siren’ and Atomic Hooligan not only gives us a top tune but provides a storming mix cd too.

B&C compilations rarely disappoint and this is no exception, with a cracking live cd to boot. Botchit Breaks 5 shows no one should have any fears about the state of breakbeat in 2002.
