CD2 – LTD CD remixes

Starts with CENSORED INNOCENCE (RMX by GRENDEL).

This remix has the familiar Grendel trademarks sounds.. a fabulous crunching bassline and thunderous beats, with a high pitched pizzicatto melody line over the top, like their excellent breakthrough single – 'End Of Ages'.
This is a great remix, adding depth and power to an already good song, and making it great.

02 – TRY TO BELIEVE (RMX BY AGONOIZE)

Agonoize are a new name to me, but this remix gives added bollocks to the flat mix of the original. Big beats and clever orchestral synth stabs make for a good remix.

05 – ENGEL IN SCHWARZ (RMX by SEBASTIAN SCHLEINITZ)

From the opening bell toll, and squelch 606 bass line, you know this is going to be a stormer… And boy does it deliver!
This is the best remix and best overall song from both CD’s. Aimed suqrely at the dancefloor, it does so without loosing the dark edge of the original. The sing along chorus, the uplifting synth breaks, this is a 3 am dancefloor filler. It’s got all the right bits and it knows how to use them!
A great club hit tune, the whole two CD’s are worth buying just for this one track.. addictive stuff!

So there you have it, Infekktion move out of the shadow of Suicide Commando et al and carve their own path into the heartland of harsh and dark EBM/Industrial.
If you love Suicide Commando, Tactical Sekt, early Wumpscut, Grendel, Psyclon 9… do yourself a favour and buy this..but only buy LTD release - the best tracks are on CD2!
